Often confused as fruit due to its sweet taste, Rhubarb or Rheum rhabarbarum is a vegetable rich in fibre and other vitamins while low in calorie. Use them to make delicious jam or a companion in roasted meals; Rhubarb has strange-looking red and green shoots blooming fully in spring and early summer. Best grown in the cold season, the roots of this plant have always been a part of Chinese medicine, while its large elephant-ear resembling leaves are considered toxic if eaten in excessive amounts.

Due to quarantine restrictions in WA, there is a 10kg seeds limit per variety. WA orders require additional handling time. Please remain within an approved limit when ordering seeds. Tasmania Customers: We can ship seeds to Tasmania. Please do not include seed line items labeled 'NOT to TAS'. Please note that the maximum allowable limit per permitted seed line item is 1kg per order.
